Marc Beuster was born in Northern Germany in 1981, where he still lives today. History has fascinated him since early childhood, especially the turbulent and captivating era of ancient Rome. This lifelong passion gave rise to his debut novel, In the Shadow of the Eagle—the beginning of what would become The Eagle Saga: The Sons of Rome.

Over the years, Marc has continued to expand the saga, crafting a powerful series that follows the fate, loyalty, and brotherhood of Roman soldiers at the edge of the Empire. His books are known for their authenticity, vivid detail, and emotional depth—blending historical accuracy with gripping storytelling.

When he isn’t writing, Marc enjoys spending time in nature with his wife and their dogs and cats. Writing, for him, is not just work—it’s a journey of discovery, both of history and of the human spirit. Through his stories, he hopes to immerse readers in the brutal beauty and timeless drama of the Roman world.
